Web Site Advertising Conditions

Burst will provide you with source code that will display advertising from Burst’s server on your Web page(s). Load the code as prescribed and do not alter it.

Placement Requirements

The above-the-scroll units are Burst’s primary advertising. You must place it in a location at the top of the page so that it may be viewed without scrolling in any direction. Burst Above-the-Scroll code should be above all other advertisements on the page.

468x60 Above-the-Scroll 728x90 Leaderboard

1. The Burst Above-the-Scroll banner must appear without the need to scroll in any direction.
2. The Burst Above-the-Scroll banner must appear first and above any other Above-the-Scroll advertising on the same page. By joining Burst you agree to give our advertising priority position.
3. There can only be one insertion of the Burst Above-the-Scroll code per page, either the 468x60 Above-the-Scroll or the 728x90 Leaderboard, but not both.
4. The 468 Above-the-Scroll|728x90 Leaderboard Combo Flexible code is recommended to maximize your revenue potential. This option will run both leaderboard and Above-the-Scroll banner in the same ad space.

120x600 Skyscraper, 160x600 Wide Skyscraper

1. The Burst 120x600 Skyscraper or 160 x 600 Wide Skyscraper banner must appear within the first 400 pixels of the Web page or be visible without scrolling on a screen at 800 x 600 resolution.
2. The Burst Skyscraper must appear first, and above any other skyscraper advertising on the same page. By joining Burst you agree to give our advertising priority position
3. There can only be one insertion of Burst Skyscraper code per page, either the 120x600 Skyscraper or the 160x600 Wide Skyscraper but not both.
4. The 120x600 Skyscraper | 160x600 Wide Skyscraper Combo Flexible Code is recommended to maximize your revenue potential. This option will run both the 120x600 Skyscraper and the 160x600 Wide Skyscraper banner in the same ad space.

300x250 Box

1. The Burst 300x250 Box must appear within the first two scrolls of the screen as viewed at 800 x 600 resolution.
2. The Burst 300x250 Box must appear first, and on top of any other box advertising that may run on the same page. By joining Burst you agree to give our advertising the priority position on each page of your site that carries Burst code.
3. There can only be one insertion of the Burst 300x250 Box code per page.

125x125 Cube

1. The Burst 125x125 Cube must appear within the first 1200 pixels from the top of the Web page or within the first two full scrolls of the screen as viewed at 800 x 600 resolution.
2. The Burst Cube must appear first and above any other cube advertising on the same page. By joining Burst you agree to give our advertising the priority.
3. There can only be one insertion of the Burst 125x125 Cube code per page.

468x60 Below-the-Scroll

1. All Burst Below-the-Scroll banners must appear adjacent to Web page content and cannot be stacked with banners from any other advertiser regardless of the source.
2. Burst Below-the-Scroll banners must appear first and above any other advertising on the same page. By joining Burst you agree to give our advertising priority position.
3. There can only be one insertion of the Burst Below-the-Scroll code per page.

Intrusives: Pop Ups, Pop Unders, Layer

1. There can only be one Burst Intrusive ad per page. Pops and Layers can spawn from Above-the-Scroll banners. It is the publishers responsibility to avoid running code on any individual page the has the opportunity to spawn 2 or more Burst Intrusive ads.

Other Requirements

1. Any Website running Burst advertising must run the Above-the-Scroll banner.
2. Burst may support its positioning objectives with an automated process that verifies positions as advertising appears on each site.
3. Burst code cannot be placed in pages that refresh or in an ad rotation program based on time (i.e. the ad banner refreshes every :30, :45)
4. Burst code can not be placed in a pop-up window or anywhere other than the Web page(s) itself.
5. Auto spawning of browser windows, automatic redirecting of users to advertisers’ Web sites or any other activity described in Section 3(E) is strictly prohibited and may result in non-payment.
6. Presenting the click-to destination of an ad within a frame, pop-up window or in any manner, which modifies the advertiser's site, is strictly prohibited and may result in non-payment by the advertiser.
7. Burst ads can not appear on any Web page for which you are not directly responsible for the content. This includes but is not limited to:
8. Framing the content of pages to which you have provided the search or no-proxy link
9. Free BBS, email, wiki, or chat services which you provide for your viewers
10. Forum pages that are not moderated
11. Pages/sites for which you provide free hosting, community or network services
