Behavioral Targeting: Rediscover your Customers


Remarketing

Burst's Remarketing solution gives you the ability to reconnect with consumers who have previously visited your web site or landing page when they visit one of the 4,700 web sites represented by Burst Network.

Creative Retargeting
Creative Retargeting allows you to place a pixel on a campaign creative running within and outside of Burst Network and retarget visitors online who have viewed your brand or product message the next time they land on a site within Burst Network.

In-Market or Intent Data
Signifies purchase behavior extracted from branded sites with access to purchase, shopping comparison, or auction behavior. Examples of intent behaviors include price search by make and model for a car, travel search by destination city, and activity on loan calculators and comparison sites.

Interest (Contextual/Semantic) Data
Are based on the type of web site a browser visits. For example, if a user visits a sports site often, an advertiser can infer that the user is interested in sports. Examples of interest behaviors can include contextual or semantic targeting:

  • Contextual advertising scans website text for certain keywords. When the words are detected, a contextual advertising system will send predetermined ads targeted to those keywords to the web page being scanned.

  • Semantic advertising works by having the ability to understand page meaning, and relate content to refined ad categories. Semantic advertising results in ads with a much greater chance of relevance to the content being viewed. This means, being able to filter page content to find associated words on web pages to match the topics.
