Eligibility Requirements for Publishers Joining Burst Network or Burst Direct

Burst Media gives web publishers two ways to reach their maximum ad revenue potential: Burst Network and Burst Direct. Burst Network offers high CPM campaigns from brand advertisers, while Burst Direct offers high fill rates through quality advertising from performance advertisers. Burst Direct

Represent specialty content. Portals, search engines, and sites of links to other people's content do not fit our definition of specialty content.

Sites must have minimum traffic of 25,000 monthly page views or 5,000 monthly unique views to be eligible for Burst Network.

Sites must have minimum traffic of 100,000 monthly page views or 20,000 monthly unique views to be eligible for Burst Direct.

Provide current, regularly updated content.

Be in English. Burst does not allow any of its ads to appear on non-english language sites.

Have an active, publicly stated privacy policy. Get more information about creating a privacy policy.

Agree to our full eligibility requirements and advertising conditions, which include posting our Demographic Survey on your site.

Reside on a top-level domain. No sites hosted on free providers (such as Geocities, Tripod, etc) are eligible.

Burst ads can ONLY be placed on sites which have been reviewed and approved by Burst staff.

Your Site May Not:

Contain any adult, nudity, sexually explicit, or mature content, use explicit language, or link to adult or sexually explicit content.

Contain user-submitted content that is not moderated.

Allow Burst ads on any sites or pages for which you are not directly responsible or any sites that have not been reviewed and approved by Burst.

Infringe on any material protected by copyright.

Allow timed rotation or auto refresh of Burst banners.

Contain racial, ethnic, political, or hate mongering.

Contain investment advice, or money-making opportunities not permitted under law.

Contain gratuitous displays of violence or profanity.

Contain material that defames, abuses, or threatens physical harm.

Contain promotion of illegal substances or activities, such as online gambling, how to build a bomb, counterfeit money, etc.

Display another publisher's content within the frame of your site.

Use any methods to falsely inflate the number of ad views or clicks.

In relation to ad banners, auto spawning of browser windows, automatic redirecting of users, pop-up windows, and framing the click-to destination of an ad banner is expressly forbidden.

Contain email or chat services which you provide for your users.

Contain forum pages that are not moderated.

Contain pages/sites for which you provide free hosting, community, or network services.
